New Method Restoration was dispatched to a call regarding a leak from a third floor bathroom drain line which affected the master bathroom below and a living room on the first floor.
Project manager Elvis Perez arrived onsite quickly to assess the damages and do a thorough inspection of the affected areas. Elvis took detailed notes, measurements, and photos before presenting his findings to the homeowner along with a recommended scope of work to be done. Elvis also assisted the homeowner in filing a claim with insurance for the damages.
Our trained professionals arrived onsite and began work in the second floor master bathroom where they removed drywall and plaster from the walls and ceiling. They then continued down to the living room below where they removed drywall and plaster from the walls and ceilings. Hardwood flooring that was affected was also removed. Once all affected materials were removed and disposed of, all areas were cleaned and disinfected using an organic antimicrobial spray to prevent future mold growth. Several dehumidifiers, fans, and other specialty drying equipment was placed throughout the spaces to ensure fast, proper drying.
