New Method Restoration Service Call
New Method Restoration received a call regarding a refrigerator supply line leak which affected the kitchen, family room, and finished basement below.
Project manager Elvis Perez was dispatched quickly to the site to assess the damages. After a thorough inspection which included taking detailed notes, measurements, and photos, he presented his findings to the homeowner and discussed a suggested scope of work. He was also able to assist the homeowner with filing a claim through insurance for the damages that occurred as a result of the leak.
Our certified technicians arrived onsite and began by extracting any water before removing the carpet and padding in the family room. They then moved into the basement where they removed any damaged drop ceiling tiles, detached custom shelving, and removed carpet and padding. Once all affected materials were removed and disposed of, our technicians thoroughly cleaned and disinfected all areas with an organic antimicrobial spray to prevent future mold growth. Several dehumidifiers, fans, and other specialty drying equipment was placed throughout all affected areas to ensure fast, proper drying.
