New Jersey Water Damage Restoration Specialists
Our WATER RESTORATION PROCESS
Neptune, New Jersey
On August 13, 2022, New Method Restoration received a call regarding a toilet wax seal leak which affected the bathroom, a laundry room, and a crawl space.
Project manager Cris Garczareck arrived onsite in under 90 minutes to assess the damages that resulted from the leak. After a thorough inspection of the site, all findings were documented with photos and notes.
Cris then presented the owner with a clear, detailed scope of recommended work to be done on the property. He was also able to assist the customer with filing a claim through their homeowner’s insurance for the loss.
Our trained technicians were dispatched and began their work in the bathroom by detaching the door, setting up containment to avoid any contamination in other areas of the home, removing content in the space, removing the shower, toilet, and sink, taking down affected drywall and insulation, and removing ceramic tiles.
They then moved into the laundry room and detached the door, set up containment in the area, detached the washer and dryer, and made 2-foot flood cuts to remove the damaged drywall. Their last area to address was the crawl space, where they removed any content in the area and steam cleaned. After all areas were addressed, they were disinfected with an organic antimicrobial spray to prevent any future mold growth. Several dehumidifiers, fans, air scrubbers, and other specialty drying equipment throughout the areas to ensure fast, proper drying.
