Our WATER RESTORATION PROCESS
Plainfield, New Jersey
On August 9, 2022, New Method Restoration received a call regarding an air conditioner condensate pump failure. The failure caused a leak which affected carpeting and sheetrock.
Project manager Adam Steig was dispatched out to the property and arrived in under 90 minutes to assess the damages. He documented all findings with photos and notes before presenting the property owner with a clear, detailed scope of recommended work to be done.
Adam was also able to provide the homeowner with assistance during the process of filing a homeowner's claim.
Our certified professionals arrived onsite and began work in the affected areas of the home. They removed a vanity, did 2-foot flood cuts on the walls that were damaged by the pump failure, and removed linoleum flooring.
After all affected materials were removed and properly disposed of, the spaces were disinfected with an organic antimicrobial spray. Several dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, fans, and other specialty drying equipment were placed throughout the space to ensure quick, proper drying.
