On March 20, 2023 New Method Restoration received a call regarding a pipe break in a finished basement. The break affected a bathroom, laundry room, storage room, and den.
Project manager Keiron Brown was dispatched to the property first to conduct an initial inspection of the damages. Keiron took photos, detailed notes, and presented the property owner with a clear scope of recommended work to be done. Keiron also helped the owner file an insurance claim for the damages that resulted.
Our certified technicians were dispatched shortly after the inspection and began work in the affected areas. In the bathroom they detached the vanity to gain access to all areas that had been affected by the pipe break. Any standing water in the spaces was extracted. All spaces were sanitized with an organic antimicrobial spray to ensure no future mold growth would take place. Several dehumidifiers, fans, and other specialty drying equipment were placed throughout the basement to ensure quick, proper drying.
