Our WATER RESTORATION PROCESS
Brick, New Jersey
On August 10, 2022, New Method Restoration responded to a call regarding a hot water heater leak which affected a bathroom, kitchen, foyer, hallway, and living room.
Project manager Cris Garczareck was dispatched and arrived onsite in under 90 minutes to do a thorough inspection of the site. All findings were documented with photos and notes.
Cris then presented the customer with a clear, detailed scope of recommended work to be done. He was also able to assist with getting a claim filed through the customer's homeowner’s insurance.
Our skilled technicians arrived onsite and began work in the affected areas by first extracting any standing water that was in the area.
They then detached a washer and dryer in the laundry room to prevent any further damage. In all spaces they did 2-foot floor cuts on the affected walls, removed insulation, and removed all flooring.
When all the affected materials were removed and properly disposed of, all areas were disinfected using an antimicrobial spray to prevent any possible future mold growth. Several dehumidifiers, fans, air scrubbers, and other specialty drying equipment was placed throughout the spaces to ensure proper drying took place.
