On June 2, 2022, New Method Restoration responded to a call regarding an air conditioner leak in an attic which affected the living room ceiling below.
Project manager Armand Pallino arrived onsite quickly to assess the damages. He thoroughly inspected the site, documented all findings, and presented the homeowner with a clear scope of recommended work to be done. Armand was also of assistance to the property owner during the process of filing an insurance claim for the loss.
Our skilled technicians arrived at the property and began working in the attic, moving any content prior to removing affected insulation. The attic was then sanitized and disinfected with an organic antimicrobial spray.
When work was completed in attic space, the technicians moved into the living room where they removed any content that was in the space.
They then set up containment in the area to avoid contaminating other areas of the home. Crown molding was detached, sheetrock was removed, and affected insulation was disposed of. The space was then sanitized and disinfected with our antimicrobial spray prior to setting up several dehumidifiers, fans, and other specialty drying equipment.
