Our WATER RESTORATION PROCESS
New Method Restoration was called out to a home with a water valve leak in a bathroom wall, which affected a bathroom vanity as well as sheetrock and insulation in the ceiling below.
Project manager Armand Pallino arrived onsite quickly to assess the damage and provided the customer with a detailed scope of work. He also assisted the homeowner with working with his insurance company to file a claim and confirm coverages.
Our skilled technicians were dispatched to detach the vanity, remove the damaged sheetrock and insulation before disinfecting all affected areas with an antimicrobial spray. They then placed multiple dehumidifiers, air movers, and other specialty water drying equipment to properly dry all wet areas quickly.
New Method Restoration was dispatched to assist a customer who had a sudden pipe break in the second floor bathroom. The water migrated to the floor below, affecting sheetrock and hardwood flooring. Because the insulation and sheetrock was saturated from top to bottom, the best practice was to simply remove it. Luckily, we have state of the art specialty drying equipment and were able to save our customer from a headache of removing their beautiful hardwood flooring. Containment was a must on this job so we could elevate the temperature in the drying chamber and successfully dry the floors in 3 days! We also assisted the customer and walked them through step by step with their homeowner’s insurance claim.
